Aalto University’s School of Arts, Design and Architecture is the most valued school of art and design in Finland and the 7th in global rankings. The 150-year-old School of Arts, Design and Architecture provides a wide range of different art studies in an international and diverse environment. Aalto combines different fields of study and the students can easily include studies of science, technology or business in their art programme. Over 300 students graduate yearly from the School of Arts, Design and Architecture with excellent career prospects in their desired field.

Aalto University's application period is usually once a year in the end of December or the start of January (depending on the programme). To be able to apply for the MA or MSc programmes, the applicant is expected to have a university-level Bachelor's degree or equivalent. The application process includes often a portfolio, a motivation letter and an interview.
