In our Portfolio course we show you great examples of successful portfolios and analyze the contents and selected projects to explain how you should think about your portfolio process and how to select the best works for your creative portfolio. We help you with the layout and motivation letter and support you in every step of your process.
Scandinavian Design School portfolio preparation course consists of video lessons & lesson slides, written assignments to ease you into thinking about your portfolio process and specially designed assignments to add tailored content according to your needs. You also get personal face to face feedback of your portfolio process.
In this interactive online course you’ll study independently, going through the lecture materials whenever suits you best. We will contact you to set up a kick-off call with a teacher, where we’ll go through your individual situation and make a personal study plan to reach your goals. Our teachers follow your process and give assistance and support in every step of the course.
Some students may need more content-specific guidance and assignments to create new content, some already have a selection of works but need help in putting it together for a communicative and visually interesting series of projects. You will get personal feedback from every assignment return you make to ease you forward.
You will be studying in our DesignWeb study platform, with the lectures and assignments available in an easy-to-use online environment. You’ll get access to DesignWeb right from signing up.
Creating a portfolio takes time. Your own commitment and drive are the key elements in creating a successful portfolio. All the artwork and processes in your portfolio must be done by you. It may be difficult to know what kind of work to do or how to ideate interesting projects especially if you do not yet have so much technical skills.
